Mobile Music Polyphonic is a little more difficult to use than other ringtone design programs because you compose music using a staff music composer. If you can read music, Mobile Music Polyphonic will be fairly easy to use, but time consuming.

With Mobile Music Polyphonic, you can import certain sound files, but mainly you make your own ringtones with this software. And you're on your own when you want to download your ringtone creations to your cell phone. This program can't convert most sound files to ringtones, and you also cannot save ringtones directly to your phone using Mobile Music Polyphonic software.

Help/Support:  

Customer support is weak with Mobile Music Polyphonic. The FAQ includes only a few questions, there is almost no technical assistance, and the only way to contact Mobile Music Polyphonic's support is by email.

Supported Operators:  

Mobile Music Polyphonic doesn't operate with any specific cell phone service, but the software lists supported phones. Several common phones are supported, including some Nokia and Samsung models. (Ringtone programs that list supported phone services—not just individual phone models—allow users to find out quickly if their phone is compatible.)

Effectiveness:  

Mobile Music Polyphonic includes a variety of ringtone options for amateur musicians who want to compose ringtones from scratch. But this program isn't adept at using previously saved sound files to create customized ringtones.
