Magith is not one of our top choices for several reasons. Because this Asian-based program was created by non-native English speakers, it's difficult for English readers to grasp easily. Also, the ringtones Magith creates are piano sounds only, so you can't make a fully personalized ringtone.
Magith is a tougher to use for English speakers because it evolved from a Chinese midi music program, and the instructions aren't crystal-clear. Once you figure out the instructions, Magith is fun to use.
The sole purpose of Magith is to create your own piano ringtones. You can't use previously-created sound files in Magith. You can import MIDI files, but the program is designed for you to start from scratch.
In Magith, you use a keyboard to compose your ringtone. You can also edit and save your score, but you can't send the file to your cell phone—you'll need additional software to transfer sound files. This was inconvenient.
On the website, Magith teaches you how to use the program. You can contact Commuent Software by email with further questions, but there is no other assistance available.
Because Magith doesn't allow you send the ringtones to your cell phone, there are no supported operators listed.
Magith is effective in creating piano ringtones from scratch. There are several options and variations available to alter basic ringtones, but the program isn't effective at importing a variety of music if you want to create custom ringtones. Your ringtone options are limited in Magith.
Because of its limited features and awkward English, we don't recommend Magith ringtone software. But if you can master Magith, it is a fun little program to use.
